Raw material pre-processing equipment
Biaxial Crusher: biaxial crusher for crushing coconut shell into small pieces for subsequent crushing and processing.
Hammer crusher: Hammer crusher to further crush the crushed coconut shell into suitable size powder.
Vibrating Screen: Screens the raw material size that meets the granulation requirements, removing impurities and large particles.
Belt conveyor: conveying raw materials between various production stages to ensure the continuity of the production process.
Drying equipment
- Rotary dryer: through the cylinder rotating and internal pressure plate structure, make the fruit shells and hot air fully contact, to achieve high efficiency drying.
- Airflow dryer (optional): suitable for large-scale production, using high-speed hot airflow to make the shells dry instantly, fast drying speed and high efficiency.
Pelletising equipment
Ring die granulator: the core equipment, through the extrusion of ring die and pressure roller to make the raw material into fuel particles, according to the demand to choose different aperture of the ring die, the production of a variety of specifications of the particles.
Flat Die Pellet Maker (optional): suitable for small production line or occasions that do not require high shape of pellets, with simple structure and lower cost.
Cooling and screening equipment
- Counter-current cooler: make the hot particles flow in the opposite direction to the cold air to achieve rapid cooling, good cooling effect and low energy consumption.
- Air-cooled cooler (optional): use the cold air produced by the fan to cool the pellets, suitable for small-scale production or the cooling requirements are not high.
- Vibrating screen: sieve the cooled pellets to ensure the quality of finished pellets meets the standard.
Bagging equipment:
- Automatic quantitative bagging machine: precise measurement of packaging fuel pellets, packaging speed and specifications can be adjusted to improve production efficiency and packaging quality.
- Sewing machine: sealing the bags to ensure the sealing of the packaging.
- Conveying and palletising equipment: conveying the packaged finished products to the palletising area, and neatly palletising them, which is convenient for storage management and logistics transport.

Production process
Raw material pre-treatment
After collection, the fruit shells are transported to the raw material stacking area of the plant, where they are preliminarily screened to remove impurities, such as residual pulp and stones. Then through the belt conveyor into the crusher for coarse crushing, and then into the crusher further crushed into fine powder, and finally screened by the vibrating screen to meet the requirements of the particle size of the raw material, to ensure the stability of the subsequent processing and the quality of the particles.
Drying
Qualified fruit shell powder enters into the dryer, using hot air or steam and other ways of drying, so that the moisture content of raw materials down to 10% - 15%, to meet the requirements of the pelletising process on the humidity of the raw material to ensure that the quality of the fuel particles and combustion performance, and at the same time to improve the production efficiency and reduce energy consumption.
Pelletising
The dried raw material enters into the granulator, and appropriate amount of binder (e.g. vegetable oil) and vegetable fibre is added in the tempering device to make it have suitable viscosity and humidity. Through the extrusion effect of ring mould and pressure roller, the raw material is made into dense fuel particles, the diameter and length of the particles can be adjusted according to the market demand to ensure the production of products that meet the requirements of different combustion equipment.
Cooling and Sieving
The hot granules come out from the granulator and enter into the cooler, adopting counter-current or air-cooled cooling method to cool them rapidly to about room temperature, enhance the stability and water resistance of the granules, and prevent caking and deterioration. The cooled granules are sieved through vibrating screen to remove unqualified large granules, fine powder and sticky granules, to ensure the uniformity, integrity and appearance quality of finished granules, and to improve product qualification rate and market competitiveness.
Bagging and Storage
Qualified granules after screening enter the bagging area, which is measured and filled by the automatic quantitative bagging machine according to the set specifications, and then sealed by the sewing machine to ensure a good sealing of the package. Finally, the packaged finished products are neatly palletised by conveying and palletising equipment for easy storage and transport, completing the whole production process and ensuring that the products enter the market in high quality.

Raw material type
Walnut shell
Hard texture, rich in lignin and cellulose, high calorific value, is a high-quality raw material for the production of fuel pellets, stable combustion performance, long burning time, high heating efficiency.
Coconut shell
High fibre content, strong toughness, contains more lignin, after treatment can be converted into high calorific value fuel particles, combustion flame stability, heat release uniform.
Peanut shells
Large production, moderate fibre content, can be made into stable quality fuel pellets after treatment, with a certain calorific value, less pollutant emissions during combustion.
Other nutshells

Auxiliary materials
Appropriate amount of binder (such as vegetable oil) can enhance the viscosity of raw materials, which is conducive to pellet moulding and improve the production efficiency and combustion performance of pellets. .

Pellet shape
Cylindrical, length 8 – 20 mm, diameter 4 – 8 mm, smooth surface, no obvious cracks and defects, good uniformity of pellets, ensuring stability and high efficiency in the combustion process.
Pellet density
