Select the model according to the conveying capacity (tonnes/hour), conveying length, material density and inclination angle. It is recommended to provide detailed requirements, and Huaxin Machinery will calculate and recommend the most suitable equipment model and configuration.
Screw conveyor is suitable for powder, granule, lump and viscous materials, such as cement, grain, coal ash and mud.
The angle of inclination is normally no more than 30°, beyond which the conveying efficiency is reduced. If conveying to a higher position, it is recommended to use a vertical screw conveyor or to adjust the design of the blades.
High temperature materials can be conveyed, but high temperature resistant materials (e.g. heat-resistant steel) should be used and a heat-insulating layer should be added to the shell. Bearings and drive systems need to be kept away from high temperature areas to avoid the temperature affecting the life of the equipment.
Fragile materials can be conveyed, but it is necessary to reduce the speed and optimise the blade design (e.g. flexible or cushioning blades) to reduce the impact on the materials.
