Rake Tooth Compost Turner
The Most Economical Compost turning machine

Rake Tooth Compost Turner Overview
The rake tooth compost turner consists of a track system and a toothed rake turning device. It can fully mix organic waste such as livestock manure, straw and food waste, so that the material is in full contact with the air, creating good conditions for aerobic fermentation, promoting the microbial decomposition of organic matter, and speeding up the composting process.

Advantages and Features of Rake Tooth Compost Turner
Advantages and Features
Efficient turning
The rake-tooth compost turning machine has rake-tooth structures that can quickly penetrate the material. When working, multiple rake teeth act simultaneously to achieve large-area compost turning.
Even mixing
The design and arrangement of the tines mix the material finely like a comb during rotation. The material is mixed evenly both horizontally and vertically.
Stable operation
Its scientific and reasonable structural design and stable centre of gravity mean that it is not prone to shaking or drifting during operation, even during long periods of use.
Large turning depth
This compost turner can achieve a relatively deep turning depth, generally about 1-2 metres. It can turn over the material at the bottom, so that the deeper material can also come into full contact with the air.
Adaptable
Because the strength and spacing of the tines can be adapted to the texture and stickiness of different materials, different materials can be effectively processed by the tines.
Flexible operation
The turning speed and depth can be adjusted according to the actual composting site and material conditions. It can also operate in composting areas of different shapes and sizes.

Working Principle of Rake Tooth Compost Turner
Working Principle
When the rake compost turner is working, the rake teeth go deep into the compost material. As the equipment rotates or moves, the rake teeth stir the material, so that the compost is fully exposed to air and accelerates the aerobic fermentation of microorganisms. At the same time, by adjusting the depth of the rake teeth and the speed of the equipment, the degree of stirring can be controlled to ensure uniform composting and promote the rapid decomposition and maturation of organic matter.
Rake Tooth Compost Turner Application Scenarios
Application Scenarios
Large-scale farms
Large animal farms such as pig farms, cattle farms and chicken farms produce large quantities of animal manure every day. A rake-type orbital composter can compost this manure together with bedding, straw and other mixed materials.
Organic fertilizer plant
The rake-type orbital compost turner can be used to pre-process and turn organic waste of various origins during the fermentation stage of organic fertilizer, promoting even fermentation with other raw materials.
Sludge treatment plant
The rake-type orbital composting drum plays an important role in sludge treatment. By turning the sludge, its air permeability and structure are improved, and the sludge's stability and safe treatment are accelerated.
Garden waste treatment centre
Waste such as branches, leaves and grass cuttings from urban greening and park maintenance can be composted using a rake-toothed compost tumbler. For improving soil in urban gardens and landscaping
Centralised agricultural waste treatment station
Agricultural production generates large quantities of crop straw and other waste. This waste is collected centrally and composted at treatment stations using rotary harrow composting drums.

Rake Tooth Compost Turner Buying Guide
Buying Guide
Processing capacity
The power of the composter and the density of the tines are selected based on the size of the composting site, the daily composting volume, the material characteristics such as moisture content and viscosity, etc.
Equipment size and site suitability
Select the size of the composter according to the actual size of the composting site and the track layout. Also ensure that the height and width of the tumbler can adapt to the space constraints of the composting site.
Power drive system
Select the appropriate power system. If the power is too low, it may not be able to meet the requirements of the compost turning machine operation, resulting in poor performance of the turning machine; if the power is too high, it will increase additional costs.
Rake tooth structure and quality
Different front tooth shapes are suitable for different materials and processing requirements. High-quality rake tooth materials should be strong, wear-resistant and corrosion-resistant. The right rake tooth spacing ensures material tumbling and passage.
Control system
It is recommended to choose a compost turner with a high degree of automation, remote control and an alarm in the event of a fault. This will improve the operational stability and safety of the equipment.
After-sales service
When choosing a turning machine, it is important to understand the manufacturer’s after-sales service system, including response speed, technical level of maintenance personnel, spare parts supply, etc.
