Driving device

The maximum conveying distance of a single scraper conveyor is around 80metres. But through the way of multiple machines in series, etc., can achieve longer distance conveying, theoretically up to thousands of metres. However, as the conveying distance increases, power loss, chain tension and other problems will be highlighted, need to be considered comprehensively.
It can convey bulk materials such as feed, grain, fertiliser, coal, ore, cement and so on. For block, granular, powdery materials can be handled, but too sticky, extremely poor fluidity of the material may affect the conveying effect, need special design or pretreatment.
The scraper conveyor can adjust the conveying speed. If it is driven by frequency conversion motor, it can be adjusted by changing the frequency of the motor; if it is a fixed-speed motor with reducer, it can be adjusted to a certain extent by replacing the reducer with different transmission ratios or by adopting a speed-adjusting type hydraulic coupling.
Check the tension and wear of the scraper chain every day, clean the debris and accumulated materials in the chute; add lubricating grease to the chain, sprocket, bearing and other parts regularly; check whether the running temperature and sound of the motor and reducer are normal; carry out a comprehensive inspection of the equipment every month, and tighten loose bolts and so on.
